Hi, I’m Desiree Hurtado—the heart behind Pixie Doodle Paws.
I’m also a proud first-time mama to my sweet baby boy, who has given me a whole new perspective on nurturing, patience, and unconditional love. While this chapter of motherhood is just beginning, my journey in raising and caring for puppies began in 2020.
Each litter I raise reflects both my experience and my heart—combining thoughtful care, dedication, and a genuine love for what I do.
Our Story
Our journey with Australian Labradoodles began with a very special girl—Maise, one of our very first mamas.
Maise brought four beautiful litters into the world, caring for each puppy with devotion, patience, and joy. Now happily retired, she spends her days snuggled beside my baby boy, continuing her nurturing role in the sweetest way.
From the moment she became part of our family, Maise was never just a dog—she was a constant companion, present in everyday moments and cherished memories. Through Maise, we experienced what it means to find the perfect companion. That experience became the foundation of Pixie Doodle Paws and our passion for helping other families find that same connection.

In our search for the perfect family dog, we discovered the Australian Labradoodle and quickly realized what makes this breed so special.
Originally developed in Australia as a therapy and companion dog, they are known for their gentle nature, intelligence, playful spirit, and allergy-friendly coats.
